Located in the heart of Titusville, Pennsylvania, the Benson Memorial Library is a unique and vital part of the quality of life in the Titusville area. Since 1904, Benson Memorial Library has served as the community center and facilitator of lifelong learning in the area. Your monetary donations help the library employ an expert library staff, hold free programs for youth and adults, bring new cultural opportunities to the community, maintain our historic building, provide modern technology, and build our library collections of robust materials.

Benson Memorial Library accepts donations via credit/debit card via the no fee PayPal Giving Fund icon below, or in cash or check mailed to 213 N. Franklin St., Titusville, PA 16354. The library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and all donations are tax-deductible.

Other Ways to Support the Library

  • Stock: Coordinate with your tax and financial advisors to optimize the amount you can deduct from your income tax filing. Appreciated assets generally are better charitable gifts than cash because you avoid capital gains tax and qualify for an income tax deduction.

  • Qualified Charitable Distribution from an IRA: If you are age 70-1/2 or older, you may consider making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your individual retirement account (IRA). The money given will also satisfy your IRAs required minimum distribution (RMD) requirement if you have reached age 73.

  • Planned Giving: Make the gift of a lifetime by making a planned gift through your will or living trust.
